LaPoynor Flyers overcome Martin’s Mill Mustangs in 2A regional finals
In Athens, Martin's Mill challenged Lapoynor. Their supportive fans were in for a show.

ATHENS, Texas (KLTV) - Martin’s Mill coach Greg Jenkins praised his team’s effort in their loss to LaPoynor 53-43.
“Yeah, hats off to LaPoynor. They are really good they start four seniors, they are so well coached” said Jenkins.
The LaPoynor Flyers have defeated Martin Mills twice earlier this season, and their supportive fans were in for a show when the Mustangs opened with an 11-2 run.
By halftime, though, the game was tied at 24, and the Flyers later stepped up to win 53-43.
