If you ever see a big black cloud with a funnel-like extension beneath it, watch out! It could be a tornado.

When a Tornado Watch is issued, keep your eye on the sky for signs of a possible Tornado and watch KLTV for up to date information. When a Tornado Warning is issued, act fast to protect yourself!

Remember when a tornado is coming, you only have a short amount of time to make life-or-death decisions. Advance planning and quick responses are the keys to surviving a tornado.

Here is a list of supplies you should have for a disaster kit:

• Flashlight and extra batteries
• Portable, battery-operated radio and extra batteries
• First aid kit and manual
• Emergency food and water
• Non-electric can opener
• Essential medicines
• Cash and credit cards
• Sturdy shoes
